Leadership is multifaceted. I have been extremely fortunate to work under many great leaders. The essence of leadership is the ability to set priorities, a clear vision and most importantly the ability to communicate these clearly. A strong leader must be a good communicator. Of course it assumes you have good judgment and the ability to see the implications of near- and long-term decisions and set short-term direction and long-term strategic vision.
